To reveal what’s underneath is a craft of pulling away piece by piece the surface. Each piece of human self has different tendencies. Some parts of ‘us’ hold on and are difficult to erode. Other parts are soft and erode away easily. These constant life erosions are the very things creating our meta-appearance within the dynamic ranges of personality and personhood.
Sometimes, the erosions in specific ‘us’ areas become so drastic that a collapse is imminent. Too much has been removed and the structure of the trait or characteristic or idiom simply cannot maintain itself against the foraging elements of life living. But, there is something of great importance to remember.
Just like the land can be raised into mountains and high plains, so too can the self be raised. We can rise.
